The design of the Royal wedding stamp has a perforation line down the middle so that the stamp can be split and used individually, suggesting that the couple can be easily separated.
Whilst this was not the intention of the design, it does follow on from the design of Charles and Diana’s stamp. Here the couple were facing away from each other.
I am sure this has no bearing on the fate of Wills and Kate’s marriage, but one might reconsider the approval process of stamp design.
