Inspiring Courtesans and Monochrome

Designer Vineet Bahl was inspired by a famous Mughal courtesan for his Autumn/Winter 2013 collection.  The collection was beautiful and showed splendid Indian craft techniques and beautiful, flattering colours.  Fabrics included silks and velvet and the designer managed to use Swarovski crystal embellishments in an understated way.

Anupamaa was inspired by Delhi, the city she lives and work in.  Monochrome is always striking and it works well paired with tomato red.  Nicely accessorised with head and hair ornaments that completed the looks.
