A ten inch tall Ancient Egyptian statue behind a locked glass cabinet has been puzzling Manchester Museum staff by turning itself around 180 degrees. There is only one person that has a key to the cabinet and the movement has been captured on a time lapse camera. If this was a Hollywood horror movie, surely the museum staff member would meet an untimely and gruesome death at the hands of the statue?
Lucky for him, we’re in the real world and perhaps, after hundreds of years lying at the feet of a dead body in a tomb followed by decades in a glass cabinet, the statue just got tired of seeing people staring at him and decided that a white painted background was more interesting. Should we be offended?
