Nikasha referenced the much loved muse of Yves Saint Laurent, Loulou de la Falaise as an overarching inspiration. The Indian twists came as Niksha honed in on her subsequent imaginary muse of Anglo-Indian and French origin who throws on eclectic bohemian looks with ease and comfort. Luxurious fringe details and rich hues made this collection lovely.

Ice (or dusk) blue tones, much loved by Elsa in Frozen, were predominant in both Payal Singhal and Anju Modi’s collections with the latter even citing fairy tales as an escapist inspiration. The angel-winged crowns set in masses of hair was striking and the models looked like they were enjoying themselves which is contagious!

French inspiration was also abound for Payal Singhal whose predominantly feminine collection created with Chantilly lace exuded flirty femininity. It was great seeing the designer push boundaries with her experimental designs.
