Brow verdict: YES
In a cruel twist of fate, the mono brow that used to spread across our teenage faces now wakes up every morning in patches.
Brows have been big news for a while now and most women our age have over plucked at some stage so here is our opinion on some fillers out there at the moment:
The best eyebrow pencil by far is Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Wiz. It is only £15.50 and will last about 4 to 6 weeks. The pencil screws up in a fine point and gives the most natural look and crucially, it also comes in black! Hurrah, a company that realises some of us have black eyebrows.
Charlotte Tilbury and Bobbi Brown own this market but we find their slanted pencil hard to control and they are too thick. It means that you have to spend ages flicking & flicking to make it look natural. If you like chunky brows these might be your thing. Not for us! And way too pricey.
If you’re just trying out and want to start with something cheaper, try Gosh, available in Superdrug.
Brow verdict: YES
Finally we recommend an eyebrow mascara – don’t go overboard here, the cheaper products are just as good as high end. Remember it’s just going to get clogged up with foundation and powder. We recommend Gosh or Maybelline.
Brow Verdict: NO! (Bubbly met the highly acclaimed make up artist who claims to have advised/convinced Kajol to keep her mono brow. Beauty fail, but at least we all had a benchmark for comparison!)
Baby got brow! Enjoy!
