Did I miss something? Poetic?

Ok, I’ve tried to avoid it and ignore it and hope it just went away but I am now forced to join the pubic hair debate that is rocking the nation (well, it is if you read leftie papers).

Like the 30-something journos I am gutted that 92% of 8-16 year olds have seen hard core porn. Hard core! And apparently the effect of this on our children’s minds is that they feel pubic hair is gross and girls need to be bare “down there”.

Did you ever play Sonic the Hedgehog? Or Streetfighter? Oh what wonderful games, fab graphics and with delightful family fun in tow!

Then, like most other teens, I grew up and out of games consoles. I noticed however that my male cousins, ALL of them, continued to play games and still do. Occasionally, like all things we don’t understand, my sister and I will mock them and tell them to get girlfriends/a life/some sunshine.

I recall Lara Croft! What a fab character, I remember thinking, she is a woman that is kicking serious ass.

Dear Diary

I bought a pair of jeans AND wore them in public AND felt great. You are thinking so what, but I haven’t worn jeans (or trousers) for about 15 years! I have a fat ass and fat thighs and clearly a bit of a mental health problem. I’m 5 ft 2 and “curvy” and convinced myself I only looked good in skirts and dresses.

At uni, I made a friend measure it!
