Bunty and I would like to wish you a very merry Christmas, a drunken Hogmanay and wonderful 2013!
We won’t be posting much over the holidays but we wanted to say thank you for
The Uncensored Household
Christmas is a time for spiritual reflection and prayers for peace… Recall and cancel: Christmas means big business and high expectations to please and be pleased.
If you have run out of time or ideas, I’ve picked some designer Christmas crackers might be something to throw money at. Instead of a naff joke and a teeny deck of playing cards suitable only for the Sylvanian Family
The best aromas of Christmas must be that of mulled wine and warm mince pies. Since I will spend Christmas in Delhi (sniff) I’ll share a taste of what I will miss, you cannot beat my mulled wine recipe – try and see for yourself.
You will need the following:
2 bottles of good red wine – I use cab sauv which works really well. It is a myth that you can use rubbish wine. Repeat after me: rubbish wine = rubbish mulled wine.
I hope L’Oreal dont sue me for using their tag line but I’ve picked a selection of wonderful accessories that will bring hours of happiness and compliment your Christmas party outfit. High budget or low, there is something for every girl’s treasure chest, sit back and enjoy:
Gold tassel belt by ethical designer, Shazia Saleem, £35. The belt is 2m long and can be worn in a whole selection of ways, even a necklace.
Beautiful Swarovski crystal earrings by Erikson Beamon, £480 on Net-a-Porter. The colours of the crystals are just beautiful. You don’t have to be matchy matchy, they would look great on a contrasting outfit too.
