Apples are falling off the trees across the country. There are an assortment of foods that can be made from jams to chutneys to desserts. My recent favourite is a quick and simple Apple Crumble served with custard or ice cream.

Pimms

The sun is out and it is going to be a scorching 32 degrees in London this weekend and my favourite summer tipple is Pimms & Lemonade. It has to have cucumber and mint to give it the cool freshness needed for a hot summer’s day. Addition of fruit is always a bonus for me.

Fruit In A Pill

A new supplement was launched in the UK today called Juice Plus+ promising to give us the same vitamins as our recommended five a day fruit and veg.  Thing is, a while back the government said it just made the five a day portion up as it was catchy and a number that was easy to remember.
