A Chinese Puzzle

An article in The Guardian reported the growing trend of China copying Western architecture on a grand scale.  I’m a fashion designer and I am miffed if people copy my designs so I can only imagine what some of the world’s most talented architects think of their designs being copied.  Fashions go in or out, however, buildings can last for hundreds of years.

The Facebook Feud

The Winklevoss twins don’t seem to give up. The Harvard rowing brothers are launching a new lawsuit against Facebook claiming that the global social networking site “intentionally or inadvertently suppressed evidence” during their previous litigation.

Originally, in 2003, they launched a case against Mark Zuckerburg, founder of Facebook, for stealing their idea.  A five years court battle was financially settled in 2008 with a deal worth around $65m (£41m) But now they want more…

Copy Cat Outfitter

Urban Outfitters have had their long history of copying (or “taking inspiration from” as the industry prefers to call it) confirmed once again.  As reported online, a jewellery designer has had her designs copied, even down to her descriptions.
