A Perfume for a Little Princess

Quintessential British heritage brand, Penhaligon’s, is launching a new Eau de Parfum on Monday called Vaara, inspired by the Royal House of Marwar-Jodphur in Rajasthan. The scent came about after His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singh II desired a scent to commemorate the birth of his granddaughter, Vaara (as one does).

You Smell Great!

My most favourite perfume in the whole wide world is Gio di Giorgio Armani.  Every single time I wear it and without exception men and women comment how amazing I smell and ask what the perfume is.  The awful thing is that it is actually discontinued!! Can you believe it?

Brad Pitt Acts Like Brad Pitt: Fails

Life is easy when you’re good looking.  I remember when Brad Pitt first stumbled on to our screens in that Levi’s ad and my jaw dropped.  So why couldn’t he act himself in the Chanel No 5 advert?  Wooden at best, his performance is cringing and his goat beard makes me feel itchy.

Scent Of A (Dead) Woman

Ah, the seduction of the scent of a woman… last week I spent hours in Selfridges pouring over perfumes as I searched for the perfect one as a gift for my sister’s birthday.  I sniffed so many bottles that I temporarily lost my sense of smell!  I finally settled for an absolutely delicious Jo Malone scent that my sister LOVED.
