During the fabulous Jubilee Weekend the Queen delighted all, even the most hardened Republicans – no one could resist her charm. Looking incredibly elegant and glamorous she must have had so much fun dressing up in her dazzling embellished dresses.
A South Asian tradition for women is that we must all carry a scarf when leaving the house as it protects our izzat or honour.

Bunting is so popular in Britain, I wonder if anywhere else in the world use it unanimously as we do. The red, white and blue flags are parading high streets, side streets, mews and closes as people prepare to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.

The Queen does not sweat – says her dress designer Stewart Parwin on the front pages of the Sunday Times. It was an odd place to discuss something as personal as her Majesty’s body odour, but the amusing article suggested this to be the reason why she avoids looking flustered or creased.
It must help as sweating whilst on a public parade could be really off putting for both you and your fans.

Like 2 billion people around the world, I watched the Royal Wedding yesterday, elegant bride, beautiful dress yada yada, great event and so on. The person I was most impressed with was the Queen in her high heels.

How impressive is it that the Queen is in her eighties and still rocks heels?

Dear Diary,
My dad is addicted to Indian soaps and if allowed, he would watch the episodes and then the reruns. Since retirement, he seems to live out his life with these soaps. Apart from the news, he doesn’t watch any other channels until recently. We banned Zee TV!
