Going For Gold

As the rate of gold increases in value on the world markets, it will also add value to your wardrobe this season as it comes back into focus.  Those among you who are hoarders will already have sparkly gold tops and dresses in your wardrobe but if you want to add some fresh new pieces here is a selection to consider:

A gold accessory can had a hint of sparkle and nod to a trend.  The belt above is by Miu Miu from Net-A-Porter or it’s much cheaper relation:

By J Crew (in the sale for £9!) from Net-A Porter.

Gold pumps can be a little more understated too like these pretty but plain ones from Lanvin (£295)

or these ever so slightly cheaper Zara ones that ask for a little more attention!

This gold (tones but not metallic) snakeskin dress (£45) from Next will help you tick two trend boxes in one go:

This sparkly top (£16.50) from Debenhams will be great paired with denim for a day look or black for evening:

And finally… gold nails are always flattering – which self-respecting Asian woman shys away from that?! There’s always a bottle at the bottom of your make-up drawer.
